Tampa Real Estate Lawyer

Stephen K. Hachey, a Tampa real estate attorney, handles a wide variety of legal issues relating to residential and commercial real estate transactions including foreclosure defense, short sales, loan modifications, deed in lieus, landlord/tenant disputes, and title insurance.

Real estate law involves state statutes and laws, which can often be complicated and intimidating. Stephen K. Hachey can explain laws and regulations that govern any and all activity dealing with residential or commercial real estate. As a real estate law firm, the Law Offices of Stephen K. Hachey is committed to helping individuals and businesses in connection with all types of real estate transactions.

Multiple Listing Service (MLS) home sales in Tampa increased over year ago levels during late 2008 and 2009. As in the nation as a whole sales were spurred by declining prices and low mortgage rates. Sales fell strongly as the national home buyer taxcredit expired at the end of April. This, along with high joblessness, has caused renewed housing weakness nationwide. Supported by the tax credit, the average sales price has matched year ago levels for April, May and June 2010 for the first time since 2007. The credit’s expiration, high foreclosures and delinquency rates, however, resulted in renewed home price declines in later 2010. Sales, however, have begun to recover again in early 2011. Prices remain weak.

As an experienced Tampa real estate lawyer, Stephen K. Hachey can ensure that your real estate transaction adheres to the applicable rules of Florida and Tampa and can protect buyers and sellers from making costly mistakes.
