Real estate law involves state statutes and laws, which can often be complicated and intimidating. Stephen K. Multiple Listing Service (MLS) home sales in Tampa increased over year ago levels during late 2008 and 2009. As in the nation as a whole sales were spurred by declining prices and low mortgage rates. Sales fell strongly as the national home buyer taxcredit expired at the end of April. This, along with high joblessness, has caused renewed housing weakness nationwide. Supported by the tax credit, the average sales price has matched year ago levels for April, May and June 2010 for the first time since 2007. The credit’s expiration, high foreclosures and delinquency rates, however, resulted in renewed home price declines in later 2010. Sales, however, have begun to recover again in early 2011. Prices remain weak.
As an experienced Tampa real estate lawyer, Stephen K. Hachey can ensure that your real estate transaction adheres to the applicable rules of Florida and Tampa and can protect buyers and sellers from making costly mistakes.
