Medcorp LLC has been in business since 1999 as a full service ultrasound company. Within its managing partnerships they boast over 50 years of combined experience in the capital medical equipment industry. Medcorp provides sales, service, training, and consultation to customers all over the globe.

Medcorp first approached Tranquil Blue in 2012 to provide a proposal for a new website. Their site was dated and needed a complete overhaul with an emphasis on usability and SEO. Tranquil Blue provided a detailed plan of action that Medcorp accepted and promptly got to work.

The first thing we did was go through Medcorp’s existing site looking for opportunities. The navigation was poor and customers found it difficult to find the machines they were looking for. Using our in depth knowledge of ecommerce best practices we put together an information architecture document laying out the new navigation. At the same time we did extensive keyword research and began to write all new custom content for the site.

The next thing we did was provide a custom design that conveyed Medcorp’s experience, integrity, and commitment to customer experience. The site was designed to be user friendly across a mix of demographics. We designed a look that was consistent and could be extended across all marketing channels.

The new Medcorp LLC site was developed over the course of several weeks on the Magento Platform. It is completely responsive to all devices and uses all of the latest e-commerce best practices to convert users into customers. Custom extensions were developed to enhance the user experience such an ebay style auction system. We also connected to a custom CRM that allows Medcorp to distribute leads to the appropriate person with a simple click.

Tranquil Blue continues to manage all of Medcorp LLC’s internet needs as well as all online and traditional marketing. Since the launch of medcorpllc.com in 2013 Tranquil has helped Medcorp quadruple online revenue through SEO campaigns, PPC ads, and Social Media management.

This unique site is as diverse as the company. It sells party products by the 1000s and has more than 20,000 visitors every day. Truly and internet phenomenon they needed to rank in the search engines for terms as interesting as “water balloon launcher” (which they now sell by the truck loads!)
